Water is used in a variety of agricultural wastewater treatment processes which require a specialised approach. On the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the process, water consumption and the quality of the final product, Lubron Water delivers a customised design for the best results with the lowest possible operating costs.
Optimal crop development
Every crop has specific needs to enable it to deliver optimum yield. Whether using rainwater or a surface water source, the water composition must be correct for the specific application. Our specialists speak your language, understand the challenges, have extensive knowledge of legislation and regulations, and can work with you to specify deliver technology shaped around your target performance.
With the right water conditions, such as low salt (sodium) concentrations, water can be reused more often. This ensures optimal use of fertilisers, resulting in less water wastage, benefiting the environment with a reduction in surface water pesticide levels.
Corrosion and scale deposits can lead to significant energy loss, for example in heating systems, such as boilers and CHP. Through the water softening process, deposits are significantly reduced, equipment operates more efficiently and lasts longer, resulting in
savings in time and capital expenditure.
Performance and reliability
When it comes to heating, irrigation water, or air humidification: – dirt, lime and biomass formation can be damaging and lead to clogging of the system. By minimising these elements, the service life of the systems is extended and service interruptions can be prevented. That is why suppliers of boiler systems and heat pumps, amongst others, require a certain quality of water. Lubron’s extensive range of highly efficient solutions includes: cooling and boiler systems, CHP and heat pumps.Cooling and boiler water
Reducing operational costs
A well-designed water treatment system reduces operating costs. Our experts work with you to specify and consider whole project expenditure and operational requirements. Lubron delivers the latest design and technologies to ensure our systems are cost-effective, sustainable and reliable.
Lubron’s extensive technical knowledge and application experience have made us a leading supplier of water softeners, varying from large industrial softeners to small domestic ones.
We use the Fleck control valves for our standard softeners and the Cappers valves working without external electricity for the small domestic ones. All use food-grade high efficiency ion exchange resin compliant with EC Directives for water used for the manufacture of food and drink. We have more than 100 models varying from suppliers of 160 litre/hour to 100 m³/hour.Water softening
Salts and minerals can be found in pipes and in spring water. In order to treat this issue, water is desalted, a process also referred to as desalination, using reverse osmosis (RO) to achieve usable water. To achieve purified water, the RO water receives a secondary treatment with electro-deionisation (EDI).Demineralisation
Filtration occurs in nature when rain water passes between many layers of sand and gravel. The gravel and sand act as a filter to collect solid particles and therefore leave the water pure. Lubron has adapted this process to achieve the same effect in the agriculture sector.
Iron and manganese are often present in natural water sources. To minimise deposits of these elements and hence make systems more durable, these undesirable substances are filtered out of the water using fully automatic closed and semi-open water filtration systems. In addition, high bed filters, multi-media filters or activated carbon filters are used.Filtration
In a controlled environment, a number of techniques can be applied for microbiological control, including UV-disinfection and reverse osmosis. Lubron’s leading technology ensures a safe and healthy environment with optimal reliability.Microbiological control
